About us
Harmony Community Projects (HCP), part of Harmony Christian Ministries, has operated for over 17 years delivering community health support across Barking & Dagenham and North-East London. Its mission focuses on reducing health inequalities among marginalised groups through volunteer-led outreach events, health checks and research engagement.
Our Success Stories - Henry Healthy Families Programme
Harmony Community Projects delivers culturally responsive health and wellbeing programmes that support families and communities facing social and economic challenges. Through evidence-based interventions, professional expertise, and strong community partnerships, we help people build healthier lifestyles, improve wellbeing, and access ongoing support. Recent programmes have achieved high engagement, a 100% participant retention rate, and positive behaviour change outcomes for families.
Another Success Story - Supporting LBBD to raise awareness of the COVID Vaccine
Harmony Community Projects led a community-based COVID-19 Vaccine Champions programme in Barking and Dagenham, using trusted healthcare professionals, youth champions, and local partnerships to improve vaccine confidence and tackle misinformation. Through targeted outreach and public engagement, the programme helped extend vital health messaging to communities most affected by vaccine hesitancy and access barriers.
